![]() ![]() High Health Cure clears the whole party from afflictions, holy shine is a good damage spell for PIE builds, and Divine Armor makes your tank twice or thrice as tanky. Dual bosses like the twin sisters are a bitch to deal with just because of what I mentioned in the previous posts. It only works once though but can be recast, you just hope that your cleric is fast enough. The cleric has the Force guard skill that can stop bosses from clearing your buffs. ![]() I basically had to use them for the postgame boss Peide to deal damage since he has Divine Armor from his adds and a ridiculous amount of regen or else I have to force break everyone risking a wipe.Īlso, slow helps a ton with some of the lategame bosses as well as Divine Weapon which can potentially make my physical attackers deal 1k per attack with the proper setup. With Giant + Enhance magic, they can deal 3k per round to all enemies via Omega Impact, or deal more to a single target with Tri-bolt. The wizards get better with Omega Impact (pure damage) and Tri-bolt (three attacks per round, 9 if master cast). Stacking AGI and VIT also helps, but I rolled all my characters with 07 bonus points except my knight. I think a samurai would love using slash 2 or whatever and enjoying extra random chances of activating critical beheadings, right?Īs for stat allocation, I went with 28 for main spell stat (INT for Wiz, etc) then 17 for their secondary casting skill. I mean, if this is so, then why the fuck not class every samurai up to ninja level 7 i believe, is when they learn assassin dagger, then go back to samurai? "chance to activate multiple critical attacks", while the samurai have no skill that even has the word "critical" in it.ĭoes this mean that in the hands of a samurai a critical-enchanted katana has a _remote_ possibility of beheading, but in the heands of a ninja it has a chance of essentially re-rolling the behead d20 dice multiple times for essentially a higher chance of critical striking? If so, why do the ninja class get assassin dagger, i.e. Why can't i just not use a wizard? i feel like replacing him with solid back-row dps like a 2nd samurai utilizing a Spear, or a Ranger/archer.ĮDIT: also what exactly does the CRITICAL enchantment on katanas mean? beheading? unlike wizardry/elminage/etc wizard is really lackluster here i feel, as even his buffs are available via items and a char with the dancer skill for 2x item usage will out-buff a wizard i believe. But from looking at the spell listings all of the spells quite frankly suck ass and/or are handily replaced by Items.Ĭleric is indispensible, obviously, but wizard. Sure his spells are nice, and now that he's a cleric High Casting 2x multi-cures and shit is very cool. I think i'm like 45% through the game now, and honestly i cannot cite a single battle,a single moment, a single circumstance where my Wizard saved the day in way, shape or form whatsoever. Also, might as well take advantage of this thread being active:īeen wondering if Wizards are. ![]()
